Not exactly the point I was referring to...... mine was received DESTROYED.

You can't blame the USPS as much as the wafer thin, no protection bag it was sent in.......

I got mine intact. It is in the same plastic covering that it has come in undamaged for a number of years now. Receiving them damaged is in the minority based on what has been reported. Apparently the plastic covering is typically sufficient for mailing. Consequently with that said most likely a out of the ordinary accident occurred in your case that caused the damage. Sorry to hear you were unlucky. I would suggest talking nicely to Jay Talbot  about getting a replacement.

I, from 1st hand experience, support Bob's advice. After waiting for about 6 weeks for an earlier SAAC Annual, or Registry, I contacted Jay to let him know I didn't get it. He sent the Annual or the Registry and included a note addressing the situation, and I expect you will receive the same level of service. Jay does a great job supporting this club.

Received mine today in beautiful Port Orange, FL in perfect condition. The articles on Fran Kress and Howard Pardee are worth the price of admission!

Thank you for your kind words, Bob and Steve. We want every current member to receive the Annual in great condition, and we always address issues that are brought to our attention. Due to Covid-19, our crystal ball has been foggy, and we are not able to discern who received an Annual in good condition, and who did not. We are leaving it to you to let us know when an Annual arrives damaged.

Write me at membership@saac.com, include your name and correct mailing address and we will remedy the issue.

Thanks for your support of SAAC.

Mine came damaged but not looking for another one. For me it is what is inside that counts. I stopped collecting every magazine and article I ve read. Ive run out of storage. Mike G.
