Hello Everyone,

Here is another photo of 0100 that was taken back in October outside of the Shelby American Collection.  Kieth Champine did some editing to "clean up" the photo for me.  He really does nice work.  I think the car looks great in this photo.

Thanks,
Eric

Looks great Eric. Red is a great color for a Shelby. Heck for any Mustang. Any pics of your car with Brian's and Little Red? Gary

Hello Gary,

Thanks.  Yes, I have my own photos of 0100, 0131, and 0139 together.  The "official" photo-journalist has threatened me with legal action if I share them.  So, I will not be sharing my photos, but here is a teaser.  I hope that he is able to find a buyer/publisher for his story and his photos of the reunion sometime soon.  This was an historic event and it's a shame that Shelby enthusiasts have not been able to read about it yet.

Thanks,
Eric

To whomever the "official photog" is:  Jeez, man, let the owner have access to the photos.  I've done that hundreds of times in my career.

My rules for the owners of the cars I've photographed were:

You can make enlargements for own use, no prob.

You can put them in your car club materials, no prob.

You can use them for your own car-for-sale ad in something like Hemmings, no prob.

They are NOT to be published in a book or other magazine, or used in a TV show.

The web is kind of a grey area, but I wouldn't complain if the owner posted a few, with a proper photo credit.

A bunch of my TV and print stuff is out there, and it actually makes me smile that people liked it enough to post, save, and/or reference.

I have never been much of a stickler about copyrights, unless the car guy is an A-Hole.

Or if some company has pirated my work and is using it for their gain.

Car looks great, Eric. Me and a young lady who  is interested in Shelbys are going to the museum soon, so will be able to see it again I saw it years ago at a car show at the mall in Longmont. I think I still have a pic  of it. Ron

Hello Ron,

Thanks.  I plan on going over to the museum again around the middle of March.  Maybe we could meet there?  Let me know.

Hello Everyone,

Here are a couple of higher resolution versions of the recreated photo in color and B&W.  This photo was taken by a friend of mine who was using a much nicer camera than I was that day.  Kieth Champine did some superb "cleanup" work on the photo for me.

Thanks,
Eric

Any chance this is #0100

No, that's the Prototype car, it was to be destroyed but wasn't, sometimes referred to as "V738-2''. Long story that has been documented in an issue of The Shelby American.
