69 Shelby center hood scoop detail

I'm sure this has been brought up before. Two questions, are the four outer screens gloss Black and is the center scoop inner section painted Black or left Natural?

As noted by the pic provided I have not heard if they masked off the screens when Larry painted the gloss black stripes(flat on black jade cars I heard). So Larry masked off the screens on 70 Shelbys when painting the stripes? My car I am pretty sure had the original hood stripes on it when I bought it in 1985 and the screens were the same shine as the stripes. Gary

As it should be. There would be need to mask off screens, just paint the hood stripes over them

Also the hood peak moulding was left on the 70 shelbys at KK plant. Larry L. taped off the chrome moulding when he layed down the 4 hood stripe transfers that go on both sides of the hoog stripes on 70 shelbys.
