it looks a gray spring used on 69 GT500/CJ cars . Not 67.

The 69 spring you posted is a different shape besides color. I have seen the spring black and also silver. I posted a picture from Mansfields online catalog because I am not near my picture files. http://www.mansfieldmustang.com/03-84.jpg

Both Branda and Mansfield say there are several different shapes for '67.

Apparently Mansfield is the producer of the current re-pro spring to other shops right now.

Black is what I thought but best to ask. I've seen yellow and grey plus a blueish grey. Considering how few are original, it just adds to the confusion for me.

The yellow and the blueish gray are 1969 throttle springs plus they are a different shape then the 67 GT500 version which is very noticeable .

NO paint remaining on that spring. 

OK. Enough details to keep me busy for awhile? 

Where can I get the dirt? Does it come in a spray can? 

Those carb studs are tough to find too.

The rusty one in the picture was black I believe originally and the other a example of silver.I have seen them black and silver.The silver ones did not appear to ever have black paint on them. Typically the black ones will have the paint flack off of the spring coils first leaving evidence in non flexing areas elsewhere.They appear to be bare spring steel under the paint.
