65 brake proportioning valve paint detail

For the brake proportioning valve- the body is painted black correct ? Are the threads and end cap also painted black ?

Early 65 GT350 were gray. Painted black from about mid 65 production on. Machined surface where the fittings thread and the end cap is plated silver. The body was the only thing painted . All other added parts and clips were not.
