Reid did a nice job for sure. It is a beautiful car , no argument.
The appraiser must have been blind to give it a #1 rating. The description is typical hype. "15x6 steel wheels"?? Battery hold down , stainless trim around the clutch pedal pad. I am NOT picking on the car , just the BS description versus the pictures.

Not sure but it looks like the rear frame rails have plates welded to the sides of them.   :o

Agree with Randy - nice car but many reason why I also don't think it deserves a #1 rating from what I can see.

67 GT350

It is sagging, front bumper is crooked, rear frame rails, etc.

What is #1, is that a perfect 10? 1 out of 10 is bad, but 10 is "A Perfect 10"....If #1 equals a 10 then that's not a 1 or a 10 car.

You guys are just too blunt lol.

The more I look , the more I see. AGAIN I am not picking the car apart , just the description. BTW cross members were dipped in black and black plastic hole plugs weren't painted over with under body paint. This is not a "money " thing.

Are you talking about the painted over black plastic plugs in the replacement sheetmetal 67-70 trunk drop off panels ?   :o

It truely stated, "... did a body off restoration ...", for how else could so much be obviously so off the scale to the less desirable, than if the body had been taken off at some point.  The body looks (gulp) great, it's just the "frame" they overlooked.  ;)

is it ok to to use the forward bracket of the under ride traction bar as a jacking point?

Only OK IMO if you like taking chances to risk damage to you and or your car.

Especially being 5 feet in the air.

So for the sake of discussion, If the seller described as a super nice #2 or top level driver, would we like the car?

I am not a red car guy at this time, but it sure looks like it would be a butt load of fun to own.

Yeah, I think it's the over-hype.  A solid(?) driver would not have drawn the cat calls
