thanks KR Convertible and Coralsnake  ! well I tried loading a photo from the gallery to the 3000 thread and it worked   :) bit large,

now I need to figure out how to adjust the size ? I'm on a Mac, would putting the image in iphoto, resizing, export to desktop, then to the gallery and then post work ?  the only issue would be trial and error as far as the size is concerned. different sizes for a lot of images. I'll give it a shot.

Mike

ps: can work with this, but hopefully the issue will be resolved  ;)

"Upload folder is full" remains the standard response to adding a photo. Great.

Why can't this be fixed? Nearly daily someone on here gets the "uploader full" message, meaning useful, meaningful pics are not getting shared. The Boss 302 forum dose not have this problem.

Who are those who run this Forum that are capable of fixing this glitch ?

Coralsnake

Why dont they try harder loading pictures? Seems like everyone is waiting for someone else....just my opinion. I think we have established it can be done.....

I think the issue is more of how many hoops do you want to jump through to post a picture. The old way was pretty simple. Click on the link at the bottom and upload your image for your desktop. Done.

The new and improved way is to go to My Gallery. Add a category. Add a title. Add the image. copy the link. return to the thread. Add a reply and add your picture link. Post. Look at the post and determine the image is huge. Go back to My gallery. edit image. relink new reduced size image. return to thread. modify thread. relink image........

I'm not trying to be sarcastic, those were exactly the steps it took me to post my image in the above thread.

Compare that to the old way of just taking a screen shot of my image to post. Then adding my text to the reply, upload image.... done. Seems a much easier process.

Any place you see the beginning tag "[IMG ...]" just change that to "[IMG WIDTH=400 ...]" and it will be resized to 400 pixels wide. If that is too small try 500.
