This 1966 Shelby Mustang GT350 was sold new from Larsen Ford of White Plains, New York, and resided in New York, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, and California before the previous owner purchased it in 2013. A subsequent mechanical and cosmetic refurbishment included a repaint in Ivy Green Metallic with white Le Mans stripes, an interior refresh with black carpets and black vinyl upholstery, and a drivetrain overhaul including a rebuild of the 289ci HiPo V8 and the Borg-Warner T10 four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes an optional fold-down rear seat, an AM radio, racing-style front lap belts, 14″ ten-spoke wheels, front disc brakes, fixed rear quarter windows, hood pins, and rear brake cooling ducts. This GT350 is now offered by the selling dealer in Arizona with refurbishment photos, parts and labor invoices, Shelby American shipping documents, Shelby American invoices, SAAC registry documents, SAAC serial number confirmation letters, and a clean California title.

At the time of listing, the page won't open so there is no link.....yet.

Shelby GT350 equipment included fixed rear quarter windows, a central hood scoop, hood pins, and fiberglass rear brake cooling ducts on the quarter panels. This example was refinished in Ivy Green Metallic with white Le Mans stripes by Ocean Body Shop of Ventura, California, reportedly in 2013, at which time the seller reports that the underside was also refinished in red oxide primer.

14″ Shelby 10-spoke wheels are wrapped in 215/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. Shelby chassis modifications over the stock Mustang included revised front suspension geometry, Kelsey-Hayes front disc brakes, and larger rear brake drums. Refurbishment work in 2013 included a suspension rebuild using Koni shocks.

The refurbished interior features low-back bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl, matching door panels, black carpets, and a black dash pad. This example features a fold-down rear seat, and additional equipment includes racing-style front lap belts, a push-button AM radio, and a wood-rimmed three-spoke steering wheel.

Instrumentation consists of a 140-mph speedometer flanked by gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, alternator charge, and coolant temperature. A Cobra-branded 9k-rpm tachometer is mounted atop the center of the dash pad. The five-digit odometer shows 77k miles, approximately 500 of which were added since the 2013 refurbishment.

The 289ci HiPo V8 features a Holley four-barrel carburetor on a high-rise aluminum intake manifold and was factory rated at 306 horsepower and 329 lb-ft of torque. According to the selling dealer, the engine was removed and rebuilt during the 2013 refurbishment during previous ownership, and the valve guides were replaced in 2020.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Borg-Warner T10 four-speed manual transmission. The selling dealer states that the transmission and rear axle were removed and rebuilt during the 2013 refurbishment.

Documentation includes invoices and shipping receipts from Shelby American, Inc., refurbishment photos, parts and labor invoices, and serial number confirmation letters from the Shelby American Automobile Club from 1987 and 2013. The selling dealer has provided an overview video below.

Yes... It was sold new in Ivy Green, with 10 spokes and fold down rear seat...

Stripes were added in 2013 during restoration.
