Wow wow wow! Thanks for the photos. I'm missing out on all the fun.
"Low she sits on five spoke wheels
Small block eight so live she feels
There she's parked beside the curb
Engine revving to disturb
She's the princess from his past
Red paint gold stripes damned she's fast"

There are not many Burnt Amber 1967 Shelby's running around making it one of the highlights of SAAC  46. This is car #85. There was a second car that was originally Burnt Amber but is painted red now.

Thanks for posting these photos.
The owner of the '67 #0085 likes SAAC conventions at Sonoma, CA (but not Fontana).
That car has been at the last three (35, 43, and now 46)

Those are terrific garage photos
Anyone know if the Yellow MKIV is an original (J6) or another continuation?

Please keep the photos coming.  :)

Thank you so much to everyone for the pictures
I really appreciate it

My 67 is located in the Bay Area but could not make it
Father duty calls and I am caddy for my son in a golf tournament in Dominican Republic

Hopefully next time
Take care everyone

I believe the yellow Mk4 is the original '67 Sebring winner but not 100%

Here are a few more from yesterday.

Steve McDonald Formally known as Mcdonas

Did anyone announce the location of the next convention
Owned since 1971, NOW DRIVEN OVER 250,000 MILES, makes me smile every time I drive it and it makes me feel 21 again.😎

Those are very focused on center photos! Nice!
Thanks again

The yellow Sebring car didn't run those side reverse C-stripes...it just had a rocker stripe.
(not that the owner couldn't add them, but as the Sebring winner it's doubtful)

Just nuts.

Happened to catch the spin at the beginning of the Vintage Race.

The rest of the 3 min just shows the lead cars coming by.  The two red cars at the front swapped places a couple times.

The race was entertaining!   Thanks to SAAC and NorCal SAAC for another great convention!

Hey 6s341 ... I'm guessing that was you in the car marked 341?  You two in the lead were certainly going at it!  Was fun to watch, too!

This car would be a beast to spend a couple of hours in the drivers seat. Note the open exhaust pipes right behind your helmet. And interesting the coil is just over the drivers shoulder inside the car.

I had the good fortune to ride down the elevator at the hotel Saturday morning on the way to breakfast with Ken Mann. The elevator ride is kinda quiet and so I asked Ken if he brought a car to the convention. He said he did not but that he restored a Carryover that would be judged on Saturday. Ken owns Pacific Pony Cars in Oregon. Here Ken is prepping #242 for judging including installing correct spark plugs in addition to cleaning. Very nice guy and a beautiful car. I hope it did well in the judging.

Edit - I am told that #242 earned Gold in the judging. Congrats!

$9.99 a gallon for Sunoco 100 octane right at the track

There were so many impressive vehicles at the convention, but special mention for this rig. The front hauler is towing the rear trailer - both equipped with awnings - carrying cars and what looked like a pretty complete shop.

The BRDC crest in the middle of the door is the British Racing Drivers Club crest according to the poster along side #98. Great Ken Miles history. And this car was run on the track and was very, very quick.
