JD I believe it was #83

I don't believe that is #0083.

Yes it was supposedly at SAAC 46 but, there are too many details that are different.
Yes the new owner could have changed many things, but I don't think that is the case here...such as;
-white shocks vs red
-no shroud vs shroud with the dreaded Mustang caution fan sticker
-both had the Monte Carlo bar removed, but the photos of #0083 show normal bolts vs flat plugs on the SAAC 46 car
-wiring on the RT tower of SAAC 46 car and #0083 has none
I could go on but will leave it there. We will need some evidence to change my mind.

To help with questions...Paxton powered!  It was a great looking '67 pitted near us, but I didn't get the number...

Had a great time at the convention.  Job well done by all.

Great vintage race Saturday!  The two leaders put on a great show!

^^^Thanks Jon ;-)

(Car #33 was originally a Black car, maybe it's been repainted and had some "updates" over the years, not much in the Registry on it)

More photos...
Didn't know the Essex Wire was there.  Nice!  I had a ride in the Wire in 1993 back at SAAC in Watkins Glen.  It really rekindled my desire for Shelby's cars (that had gone dormant during university).

Small block eight so live she feels
There she's parked beside the curb
Engine revving to disturb
She's the princess from his past
Red paint gold stripes damned she's fast"

I had Kopec sign my grandsons Lane Detail model of his R Model. He now has a Cantwell signed 001 model and this one.

The Paxton '67 is #0083 as Craig mentioned previously. He confirmed that with a few more photos by email.

Gentlemen:

I must apologize for making such a grievous  error. It is #83, I looked too quickly at the photo. This is how wrong information gets spread. Enhanced the lighting.

JD, I'm populating a list of all the '67 in attendance...around 11 cars.
Help from 'csheff' put me very close to getting this all done.

I'll need to see more photos to confirm the details on a few and maybe help on the others.
This very small overhead photo is helpful, but hopefully we can get a better image of it too.
