When Little Red was fired up (during restoration) for the first time with the engine in the car, is that #100 and #139 in the same room with the car?

That's pretty cool!

Hello,

I will be watching the documentaries later today and can let you know for sure.  0100 and 0139 were at Jason's shop at the time, but I do not know if they were in the same room with 0131 when they first fired up the engine.

Thanks,
Eric

Yes, just a glimpse but all three are shown for a bit.  Think about it....all three, still with us and in good hands.

Some personal notes:

Saw both this morning, way to "fluffy" for any serious enthusiast. Way too much Craig speaking, interviews. I wanted to see much more technical on both, hear from more who worked with them back in the day, but really not there. I guess for your typical, star-struck newer enthusiast, good TV. I wanted real hard stuff.

On the Green Hornet, how much Shelby, how much Ford? I think that was blurred for TV.

But, nice to see, so kudos there.

Yes, the eagle eyes will notice the other two cars with Lil Red.

Just watched the Little Red documentary.  Yes, 0100 and 0139 make brief appearances.  Very disappointed that nothing was said about the significance of having the "Red Trio" together for the first time since December of 1968.  I'll keep the rest of my thoughts and comments to myself.

I believe it was mentioned Shelby ordered the three cars together.

I guess you can always do your own program to correct the errors. I personally enjoyed both shows and the clips even though I recognized a few inaccuracies

I watched both shows this morning. Two hour-long shows specifically about two special CS cars that's reasonably accurate is pretty unusual. I enjoyed both. Kudos to the participants.

Hello Pete,

I never said anything about errors needing to be corrected.  I just believe that a couple of things that should have been mentioned weren't.  The fact that the three cars were ordered together because Shelby had plans to offer all three body styles in '67 could have been explained very briefly and would have provided an answer as to why 0131 and 0139 were built in the first place.  As I said previously, having 0100 and 0139 at Jason's shop when 0131 came back to life was pretty significant/historic.  In my opinion these two important points could have been brought up without taking away from the emphasis on 0131.

Thanks,
Eric
