GT350 Throttle Rod and Spring

I'm having trouble finding the details of the throttle rod and spring on 67 GT350s.

What few pictures exist this close in suggest that we are using a stock 289 throttle rod (dull zinc) and the stock 289 4V spring and bracket.

A pic of the MPC illustration of those parts is included.

It looks like you think you are having more trouble then you actually are. What do you think the other details are that you missing ?

My throttle rod was replaced with something else.
My bracket is AWOL and judging by the springs I have in the "removed from car" bin I don't have the right spring.
The Shelby Assy Manual doesn't have this detail.
The pic looks like it might have the 289 bracket, but the bracket is bent at an odd angle.
I have other pics of some kind of bracket installed but placed even more oddly than the one pictured.

If this is just 289 4V stuff, great.

The throttle linkage on #2751 has been modified to add a spherical joint at the carb end, but the rest of the linkage is stock. The spring bracket is a little different to the one shown above but looks similarly goofy!

It has a small anti-rotation tab along the edge, but I don't see how this could possibly prevent rotation.

Hopefully I have attached a picture that shows what I mean.

Looks like many wanted to improve on this design. Like mine.
If you take the original apart without paying attention the retention of the spring by the 90 degree bend doesn't look right on reassembly.
