One is for sale at auction while the other one is being offered in the gallery which is a fixed price display which mecum offers. Generally on cars they own.

STill, very rare to see two in one venue

Junk dealer and the oldest young guy you will ever know.

98SVT - was 06GT

I remember seeing Big Oly at Stroppe's in Signal Hill in the late 70s. It wasn't that nice then. They also had a whole room full of ZF transaxles from warranty work on Panteras. We tried to buy a couple but they were due to be destroyed.

The price of that car is probably realistic, considering its history as a rebuilt drag car.

A bit surprised 5R213 didn't get bid above $800K? Seems a little out of step with recent '65 sales.
65 GT350

gt350bp

Agree! $800k is well below what the market has been on the R-Models. Have to assume the car had the 32 gallon fuel tank and SW 240A in the trunk, as I didn't see any photos of the trunk. Looks strange to me to see the 66 side stripes. Sure would look good here in Port Orange, FL. Only came up 4 numbers short in last weeks Florida Lotto, so couldn't bid!

Lot# F217 Red KR conv have a "problem" ? Red 4 speeds should be more?

KR Convertible

Was a lime gold car originally.  Probably, a turn off to the concours crowd.

Tired Sheep

Its probably not a silver car at SAAC, bronze on a good day

Chad

Guys I hate to say it but there were no real bids on the R model.
