I can't identify the wheels (wheel covers?) in the last picture, certainly don't look like the wheels on the car up for auction?    :-\

     Scott.

Those are Campagnolo wheels from Italy. These are on another '64 K code (coupe) in Europe with a bunch of special stuff, I think

that car has been seen here before ? I have a file on it but I don't think it's relevant to this thread.

Mike

Those were also placed on the Mustang made by Bertone, sometime after its completion.

I wonder if all Fords imported to France got these tags. Seems just to document the weight.

There was a thread on the vintage mustang forum on this car.  Very interesting story.  When posted originally the owner did not know what he had and wanted to resto mod it.

3800 lbs? Seems way too heavy, maybe the Duece had some extra spending money in gold bullion in the trunk...

I believe this is the thread you're referring to, if so, it's a different car. https://www.vintage-mustang.com/threads/k-code-from-italy.661805/

What is funny is reply #4 from ENGINEER at the end he signs off as Rick. I wonder if it is the same Rick Nash who uses ENGINEER on our forum and has owned many restored Shelbys done by Jeff James including a red "continuation GT350 vert".

Dkutz & sg66, thanks for you posts and the link to the K code in Italy, that's the car I was referring to in post #5 here regarding

Thanks, that makes sense. I should have translated "Poids Total En Charge" before posting.

As Roseanne Roseannadanna and Kurt Cobain would say.....Never Mind.
