That is the 1967 engineering car that was converted into the 1968 photographic pre production car. It is Acapulco Blue.

Doubtful it ever had a 427 engine with air conditioning, but hey if its in a magazine article it has to be true.

LOL Pete yes probably more of old Shel's snake oil here. There are some color shots that make it look like a darker blue but may be a different car too.
