I don't have a page 73. Probably mixed up with my chassis or body manuals. Mine are worn out from decades of use. Fallen apart. The diagrams above were not available in Ford's electrical manuals like I posted above. Those are great as they are crisp and larger and my book covers every Ford car including the Cortina and Trucks and Broncos. 
Edited. Found the other part of my book. Pics in my book seem OK. Call out view "C" as clip location. Should be able  to determine how it mounts from that? I got a complete air dash assy boxed up. I'm going to look at it.

Went up in my 100 degree plus attic. Dug out my AC and here it is mounted up. last 2 pics are  upside down. There is a strip of metal the clip part attaches to above the glove box seen in the pic. Gary
