Hello everyone, this is a fully restored 427 dual point distributor. It was taken fully apart, cleaned, lubed and put back together. New points, condenser, wire, correct Ford tapered seal and cap and original Autolite rotor. The date code is 6CA March 1966 1st shift.
This was used on 427 and 428 Shelby GT500 but the date is to early for it to have come off a Shelby. With the date code it most likely came from a 427 Fairlane, 427 Cobra and possibly 427 Thunderbird. The price is $500.
Any questions please message or call me. Thanks, Marty 717-675-4179

I can't tell by the light and how it shows up in my monitor so asking if it is a brass or steel gear?

Definitely does not look like a bronze gear to me. Looks like a cast iron one to me.
