98SVT - was 06GT

You'd think that in the "crash" scene they filmed the steering wheel would be bent forward. I wonder if this was actually removed after the 2nd car was crushed - prior to being found in Mexico???

So what is the story on the 2nd car? I know Kevin's story as I heard it from his own 2 lips at the Cougar Nationals a few years ago. What gives?

Said to have been found in a Mexican junk yard a couple years ago. Authenticated after a lot of the bent/rusted sheetmetal was replaced.

Yup, I have/had some pictures of car 558 when found and before all the sheet metal was replaced.  Not purty

I hadn't heard. I am a little surprised as much time has transpired that it hasn't leaked out. It is in good hands however.  ;)
