Not sure if this is the correct subforum.

I haven't had much luck finding an original Tasca Ford License plate holder so far for my 68KR.

So, I am now looking for a photo or news clipping that would show what an original license plate holder would have looked like so I can work on an accurate replica.

I would be awesome if anyone would share a photo.

Thanks  ;D

Dealerships east of the Mississippi didn't use plate frames as frequently as west coast dealers.

Since there is a Tasca dealer script, you may be looking for a while.

Pete, I wonder why that was?   I have seen vintage trunk scripts from as far west as New Mexico.

Im not saying its a hard rule.

But I see a lot of people asking for plates or scripts and they don't even know if the dealers had them originally?

Thanks Pete,

I have never seen a Tasca license plate frame, but was hoping that someone else had knowledge of them.

Guess like many reproductions he's doing one dimensional stickers/decals and out plastic inserts. Cost of doing a small run of castings like originals is likely not affordable

I would really like a pair from a different dealership that did use frames. Have offered a local owner of a used pair $600 but after 10 years he has not given in yet. The $60 repo ones just fall short to the point that I would rather not put them on a finished car.   Just me
