That's strange. I don't belong to Facebook and I can see the pictures by clicking on them...

This car (#1595) was at the SAAC NE Regional in 2016. It was well worn with tons of patina.
Now the exterior appears to be cleaned up and polished, but still well worn as you can see in the photos.
It's been for sale since late June on several other websites.

Impressive the way that you have kept track of this cars recent history.

Not all is what is seems.
I owned this car years ago. The  car Was repainted before I bought it.The guy I bought from owned a body shop he did really nice job and it was done back in the late 70s so had the right patina.
Also when I bought it had a 68 428 cj and headers.
I owned for about a year and sold as I bought it.
This story all came from the guy I sold it too and keeps on growing.

Here's a copy and paste of the owners Facebook ad.

Up for sale is my 1967 GT500 survivor car. Paint, drivetrain and interior is all original. 428 PI 4 speed.
Car has 51,xxx miles but is driven weekly so may go up slightly. Runs and drives amazing.
Paint is in good condition for its age, but obviously has some nicks and faded areas. Interior is very clean, one tear along seam on drivers seat.
Only non-original part on the car is the carburetors, but I have a date correct set included with the car. Happy to answer any and all questions. Welcome to test drive with proof of funds.
No rush to sell, love the car but would like to clear some room for my other cars in the garage.
Asking $195,000 or best offer. Thank you for looking.

It isn't a stretch to say that the discussion here about questioning it's originality and the current owners description do not agree with what IS known about the car. It's fair criticism.

The obvious interpretation by me is that it isn't going to get sold "cheap" although maybe the current asking price is reasonable? What's reasonable now?

I'm not a buyer so I don't need to decide that?

Thank you for that detailed addition Dominic!
Back at the 2016 NE Regional, I noticed the incorrect side stripes (wrong location) which was a red flag.
That suggested something was not original about the paint as expected on a 50 year old car.
There were other details too, but that was the glaring point.
