What a WARM welcome to the SAAC! Always wondered what it was like behind the curtain, seems like a bunch of grumpy old boomers! I guess I shouldn't be surprised...

Congratulations on your purchase . I will try and help if needed with Shelby info/advice , parts etc. for a positive Shelby experience.  I am 3 hours north up I 35 in KC . PM me if you need contact info as I do better on lengthy calls rather then lengthy typing.

As Tony Montana would say :

You see the bad guys pretending to be your friends ?

All they see you as is a business opportunity.

Anyways Aloha and welcome aboard  !

Welcome Tyler, sadly it's true. Management doesn't understand that "what they allow, they teach".

He's just one more example of  "the dumbing down of America" in action.
Why would this guy who bought a real 66 Shelby deserve such a warm welcome ? This thread should be made a sticky to warn all who dare enter.

Good for the young man to own such a car. There is a complete awkwardness that a young man would grimace while doing 50-60 mph on a test drive. Shifting 1-3 and making the back wheels brake loose is something most teenagers dream about doing they dont get scared usually... and do it more and more until they get a feel of how the car responds to throttle input. I guess we have to understand that he is trying to influence the younger group how cars USED to be. I suppose the PRIUS crowd never got to experience this type of fun, so showing the OLD GUARD how these cars drive when most of us have been doing that for the last 40-50 years is strange to say the least. Enjoy the new car take it very easy they can bite, and stay off the tracks it probably would be best for all. Enjoy the ride and welcome from the OLD GUARD.

Hey guys,
So I just watched the attached YouTube video. Even though it may not make some ole timers happy it might be just the thing to excite some young blood into this group. Think about it, the younger crowd seems too stylish prefer rice burners and such cars. And by the way, what business is it of anyone's what a members income may be? That's BS

I think Hoovie is on to something!
Let's spread the Shelby Love, it's Christmas after all.

Welcome Hoovie
