I just bought rims for 69 Shelby, fairly good price, need to be recromed, still a good deal, however how can I determined difference between reproduction and original thanks

Can you post picture of the back side and front side?

Unfortunately, the bad part is you must sacrifice either the rims or the centers to have new chrome unless you have 2 sets of wheels.

Deja vu all over again as Yogi Berra used to say....

Original were glued in.
Then there was a recall.
Then they were riveted.
I'm not sure what the timeframe is on all that.

I'd guess if they need re chrome-ing that they are old but impossible to tell without a photo really.
