Way back John Paradise had a '69 GT500 that was similar. I don't remember ever having heard it run?
I just saw pictures of it. I haven't seen the car since. That's got to be '75 ish?

I'm thinking of a red 69 GT500. There may be a 68 also that I don't remember.

I'm pretty sure I have those Super Fords bound and on the shelf.

Is it this one?

I believe that is the one, yes. You saved me from digging it out but I believe there is a cover shot of it with a hood?

Watch this space.

I remember a conversation with John about severely modifying a real Shelby like this and he said, "the car was a total wreck to start out with".

They were just $3,500 cars back then.

I went and looked at that maroon GT500 in Belleville Mi less engine in the late 80s for 9900. It had the hood and the hood was cut for the blower. The car pictured above is the profile of a local FB friend Pat Sweeney who owned it back then. He was also a GM employee and invited me to a 1990 GM employee  powertrain show at the Willow Run facility(I worked at the Warren facility) and won participants choice and my class with my 1970 GT500 DP car. Yep at a GM employee show.  Gary

I know that I have a color picture of the '70 but so far can't find it.

I never had a picture of the '68, just the cartoon.

Here is a one page article that he did on his '70. If it is the same one that you are talking about Gary, I wouldn't know?

My memory says it was red with a gold side stripe. My memory can be stupid?

I think there may have been a red supercharged car out there. I just got a message from Pat. He still owns the car so he never sold it after I looked at it and has been parked since August of 1983. I lost track of Pat many decades ago but he sent me a Facebook  friend request a few days ago. Weird coincidence. Gary

I believe this is a 69 since no hood stripes or front spoiler.

I just talked to Pat about his GT500. Original maroon 4 speed 3.91 geared drag pack(said 1 of 3?). He is getting ready to restore it. Has a guy lined up. Hopefully another car on the road soon. Bought it in 1976 and told me stories about SAAC shows and Car Craft Nationals. Gary

I believe the 68 Shelby called  WARLORD  was basically a show car....Chrome Everything. I am trying to find the pic of it in an old Super Ford ...

That is Pat's car. He said the first thing he did was paint the wheels white. He told many stories about SAAC shows and the Car Craft nationals. I will be seeing the car in the near future before he sends it out for Restoration. Funny in that one time we were both owners of 428SCJ 4 speed 391 geared drag pack Shelbys and working at GM's Hydra-Matic division. I'm going to be helping him find some of the parts he is missing as I know a few who has what he needs. He is looking for 428 SCJ engine components. He bought the car non matching numbers as the prior owner blew up the SCJ. He still has the CJ engine he had in it apart with the blower also. Gary

That's not Paradise's Warlord. I can't quite see the license plate but if it is a Nevada plate it is probably Pete Buompane's GT500.

I'm sure Rick has the owner information inside the cover.

"WARLORD" ...was an all chromed blower or could have had stacked injection...  68 Shelby ..engine stood 3 ft. out of the hood..hard to describe .. :o...I believe that drawing in Reply 18 is an artists rendition of ..WARLORD..
