Auction number 1257.2  Claimed to be matching numbers drivetrain.

I for one am glad to see the 69/70's come up on $.  They are arguably one of the prettiest years and have been undervalued for a long time IMO.

For an unrestored car that's good money - I love 69/70 I think they have been the best buy in Shelby land for a really lone time.

IMHO the dealer overpaid  on BAT for a self described "cosmetic" restoration lacking most details of original finishes suitable for a driver but now a poor investment. Many parts (poorly shown in pictures) some quite expensive are wrong or missing such as oil pressure gauge, console lid, seat belt warning light, license plate lights, smog equipment, Lucas fog lights, tail light bezel screws (potentially damaged fiberglass brass inserts), shift knob, lower shift boot, LH shock tower brace, lower control arm jacking tabs, even the wing nut!
