Hi,

I just got this 3259-1 service replacement for $300.  Don't know if that's a good deal or not, but seems about right.  I never see anything with the LeMans bowls outside of this forum or eBay.  No S2MS number.

I was wondering what the forum thought of the price, and if anyone could tell me which run or reissue this was.  I know it is not an original as it has the squirter boss and 4 digit date, but still I like it.   :)

It may end up on a hipo 289 I am thinking about putting in my Fairlane.

Here are some pictures for future reference as well.

List 3259-1, LeMans center pivot bowls
   Date  2539 - 253rd day of 69, 79, etc.
   Metering blocks
      Front: Left L3259 above 4756, Right - 4754 above a 4
      Rear: Left L3259 above 4560

Thanks in advance,
Rich

Hi Bob - I was lucky to find it in Houston and purchase it at a great price as well. I paid $500 plus shipping to North Texas.

Holley didn't adopt the "4-digit" date coding until the early '70's, so that leaves out a '69 date possibility.  :)
