Hard to believe it was ''abandoned". Yes where did the parts go? The street tunnel port pieces were part of a complete engine.

Great video. Would love to know more. Registry says 5S269 last purchased by Jimmy Trice in Marietta GA in 77.
Lots of amazing stuff to abandon. Any bodies under that garage slab?

The owner replied to that question which was also found with the video.  In short "we bought everything".  WOW!

Possible that the property owner died with no relatives, friends or heirs.  No one missed him.  (No neighbors?)

If so, who has been paying the property tax all these years?

Someone had to own it for these guys to be able to buy it all.

What about the Grand National in the driveway?

What's in the red trailer behind it?

What else is there to find under all the crap in the house?

Some intense Google sleuthing, and then a country records check, might turn up the property owner's name.  Not that it matters, except to try and trace the owner history of the car.

Current:
2006 FGT, Tungsten. Whipple, HRE 20s, Ohlin coil-overs. Top Speed Certified 210.7 mph.

No worries, just heard that Gerardo ( of the Al Capones safe fame) Rivera is currently rushing into Georgia to answer all our questions.

Be still my heart....

I see my future in this video.  My house, my 66 Hertz and my mummified remains on the couch.  Good luck to the future finder of my Hertz.  Oh, and the Laguna Seca.  Not to forget that one.

Small block eight so live she feels
There she's parked beside the curb
Engine revving to disturb
She's the princess from his past
Red paint gold stripes damned she's fast"

Spooky car, incidentally.  Worthy of some sort of story or local lore.

It was so cool to have two barn find 65 Shelbys at our IN SAAC Fall Classic. This car is really something in person.

Richard, I agree.  Those flaked off paint areas on the sides seem like pieces of the car's soul flying away.

Pay your property taxes far in advance and you can stay there, mummified, for a really long time.  Kinda cool idea, actually.
