If it helps keep the lights on at Shelby Vegas then fine.  I still like going to the production facility/museum so fair enough.  "More Horse Power"..... it should be more kilowatts but you know that old saying "if you can't dazzle them with brilliance then baffle them with bullshit" so let's bring on that extra Shelby horsepower in your "Mustang"  ::)!

Electric motors are rated in horsepower. Battery capacity is rated in kilowatts. At higher output (HP), speeds and load electric motors use more current (Kilowatts).

PS - quit calling that engine in your ICE car a motor.......

Electric horsepower is equal to 0.746 kilowatts, the formula to find electric horsepower is the power in kilowatts divided by 0.746.

Europe uses kilowatt to measure all engines and motors: Though it's still commonly used by carmakers, PS or Pferdestärke (horse-strength in German) was actually replaced by kW as the EU's 'legal' measurement of horsepower.

"PS - quit calling that engine in your ICE car a motor......."

I laughed when I saw this. Back in my school days, my ancient crotchety Electric Power professor said he'd flunk anyone who referred to an ICE as a "motor".
Seems that GM never got the memo.
Shelby Buff.
I used to be a "Vintage Car" guy. Now I'm just a "Vintage" car guy.

I saw it at SEMA and I just blew right past it. Sorry to say but it was seriously laughable. What can Shelby offer for a performance upgrade to this car other then exterior emblems, strips and a big mark up for the name.
There is nothing remotely "Shelby" about this car.  Nothing.

Just yesterday received a new, Summit catalog.  Full page of Tesla "performance" parts.  Essentially, just steering wheels and replacement, coil springs.

I was also at SEMA last fall.  No one boke stride when walking past the electric mustang.  The drifting course only appealed to 14 year olds.

How many stopped and looked at the LS powered Tesla?  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5KmsVytiMDg

I may have to find some dead EV to stick a hot rod V8 in so I can bypass the CA biannual smog hassle.

Canada doesn't care what damage they do by mining - they still one of the biggest miners/users of asbestos.
