Yes, that was posted not too long  ago, not sure where the link is.

I think the car ended up being sold, not restored by the family.

I hadn't heard that it had celebrity ownership history. Sounds like it had a bit of a tough life. Not as tough as Jim Morrison's GT500, but apparently those singers from the sixties were hard on their cars!
