I also have another 2X4 One that has a small pad area on the inside but no holes. Bob can you tell me what my single 4 bottom goes to and if it is original?

Reply #17 of your link shows a original later 68 single four base . A 67 Shelby dicast base service or modified because it is missing he fitting. The other two bases only show the top side .I can't tell for sure until I see the bottom side of both.

Thanks everyone for your input.  I found my wing nuts.
When I removed them I had forgotten I put them in a safe place.
So safe I couldn't remember where until a passenger in my truck noticed them
in the armrest pocket.
