Kind of reminds me of a Intermeccanica Italia.
What if >>>

The Ford museum has a Ferrari, did Enzo give that to Ford, can't remember?

Is this the first futuristic exotic in the world?

That's got to be the loveliest rebody of all times. Putting it on a vette chassis and running gear (283 F. I.) makes for easy maintenance of what looks like an exotic nightmare to maintain. Viva ItaloAmericano !

The Scaglietti-designed Ferrari 250 SWB (short wheel based berlinetta) is, IMHO, one of the most beautiful vehicles ever designed.  It has been said that it was a major design influence for the Mustang 2+2.

98SVT - was 06GT

Well now we know why CS went to GM for engines first.

Yes - but no explanation as to why. https://www.thehenryford.org/collections-and-research/digital-collections/artifact/410281

Looks like it's at the Petersen - https://gaukmotors.co.uk/cars/enzo-ferraris-gift-to-henry-ford-ii-that-inspired-the-thunderbird/

That was a major screw up on Enzo's part if he thought he'd drum up business from Ford. It would always be cheaper/faster to build your own specifically tuned to your manufacturing techniques and supply lines.

YES - here is a link to a Goodwood race with a few 250 series cars SWB and GTO's and others.

Skip up to about 6:45 sec for the start and at about 13:30 the car your in passes a silver one.  There is a full course yellow about 2/3rds in that goes on for awhile.

Basically this is what the Cobra Daytona coupe beat to win the '65 FIA GT Championship - Shelby's goal.

Maybe when Ford saw they missed the mark in racing with Enzo, Shelby was the 2nd chance?
Perhaps Enzo was looking at a partnership with Ford to market their exotic lightweight cars through Ford?
Maybe why Enzo gifted the Ferrari to Ford ?

Many say the 61 Jag XKE Roadster is one of the most gorgeous cars ever designed and built, would have to be a coin toss with the 250 though, I agree Trackrat. I further agree that their is high resemblance to the Mustang fastback.

Kimberly and Tony Paravono were the real first ones to promote Ferrari as race cars in the US.
Maybe why Kimberly and Harris were in the first edition of "Sports Illustrated" for racing entitled "New Heraldry " ?
Tony Paravona, a noted gangster from Chicago, almost got Enzo indicted for racketeering?

Fl Saac, Yep, the Italians did design some of the most elegant cars the world has ever witnessed.
98 SVT, great clips to bring out true Historical  facts.

BUT, let us not forget, it appears the most recognized automobile in the World is the "Cobra".
2nd, appears to be the Mustang.
JD, yep, ole Shel was out to beat Enzo's ass.
I am so happy that Ford continues the Ford GT 40 legacy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
