Shelby Trans Am Manifold

A good friend of mine in another city recently surprised me with a gift of his lifelong collection of Shelby materials.
I was literally humbled - what a huge surprise from a great guy!

Among the lot is a bunch of small clippings, many of which I had never seen before, like this one.
Here, an intent-looking Chuck Cantwell shows off the new 289 manifold developed for the Trans-Am racing program.
(there was no source on the backside of this clipping)

Thanks for that great photo of Cantwell with the intake ! your friend was very generous to pass on these items !
