Hi all,

Don't be fooled.  The sellers claiming original, but based on the absent S1MS part number, the absent raised surface around bolt holes and the nicer than original side tool access pockets for tool and fasteners, it appears to me as a repop.  It is just an older repop with some patina.  The seller asking just under $2000.

What do you think?

Agree Cory. Close but no cigar. Repop

Very early 1965 production GT350s did not have a S1MS on their oil pans.

Hi Mark,

Good to know.  What about the raised material around bolt holes?

Thanks

Cory

Yeah happy to learn new things, are we taking Venice production cars?

The early no p/n T pans still have the raised reinforcement for the attaching hardware.

Do the early no p/n T-pans have the boss in the right rear sump that allows for installing an oil temp gauge? All original T-pans with the S1MS number I've seen have the boss. Haven't looked that close at many repop pans but the ones I have seen did not have it.
