For a 1969 GT350 with factory A/C, should the heater water control valve have a mounting bracket or not?

given your screen name I am  guessing that you are confusing it with the 67/68 version that does have a mounting bracket.

Ed, thank you for confirming that there is no mounting bracket.  It just seemed odd to be installed that way.
