Does anyone restore these? I'm sure my original one is hiding in a box somewhere and would like it restored. Or does anyone have these NOS? Thanks. Gary

The repo I pulled out of my tank had a plastic float. The unit stayed at just under a quarter tank. I'd usually run it a little lower then fill up the tank because of the age of the fuel. Well how did I find out my gauge was stuck at 1/4? Ran out of gas on a busy freeway in 95 degree heat a few years ago. I've been going off my tripometer since. I pulled out the repo and installed another repo(brass float). I tested it when I pulled it out(hooked up and grounded) and with it hanging like full it went to full. Had the same problem with the repo in my Mach1and changed that last year but it didn't work from the start but tested good when I pulled it out. I'll be buying a rebuilt original for the Shelby but use this one for now along with my tripometer.
