guys,
Is  this  the fastest electric race car in the world? less than 2 seconds to 62mph

I would bet they are going to try for the fastest time ever recorded at GOODWOODS, any bets?
Article;
Ford Electric SuperVan Races Into Goodwood With Nearly 2,000 HP. Who needs a hypercar when a van can hit 62 mph in less than two seconds? Oh, and it also has a burnout mode.

That's  an amazing accomplishment for Ford

These are a bit quicker

2 - Tesla Model S comes with some ridiculous specs. The company says it can sprint to 60 mph from a standstill in 1.99 seconds and has a top speed of 200 mph

1 - The Rimac Nevera is the fastest car from 0 to 60 mph.  Rimac says it'll go from 0-60 mph in 1.85 seconds and 0-180 mph in 9.3 seconds. The quarter-mile?
The Nevera tops the list of the fastest electric cars in the world with a top speed of 258 mph

Denial is like a cloud that obscures the sky. It blocks the truth. It reduces clarity.

On a side note:

You are being told to lower your AC usage on hot days to prevent overwhelming our existing electrical grid

While simultaneously being told to trade in your combustible fuels vehicle for an electric vehicle

Wow that's fast.

What wasn't mentioned is range. I wonder what it would be cruising from LA to Las Vegas at the defacto I-15 speed limit (75 mph)? Oh, that would also include running the air conditioning too.

Forget about range,  let's talk about the acquisition costs

Lots of companies are trying for the "fastest" electric car.
Fords van is not a aerodynamic super car style, why did Ford use a van?
They also ran off track using a different formula.

Why would they say up to 62 mph in less than two seconds.

Maybe it is the fastest>> and that's why they used 62 mph rather than 60 mph.
Puzzling in a way, any thoughts?

Better yet they should be concentrating on that the car requires 1.21 gigawatts ("jigawatts/jigowatts") of power and needs to travel 88 miles per hour (142 km/h) to initiate time travel.......MARTY  !

Back in the mid sixties Ford put a van body on a GT40 chassis .It broke records on the test track. It sounds like a similar outrageous engineering exercise.

So they had enough room for the batteries.
62 MPH here but an eye popping 100 KPH in the rest of the world.
