Awesome looking powerplant. How would this car stack up in comparison to a CAV chassis?

I'm no expert but I've been looking at these lately.  I am told both the Safir and CAV chassis are very good quality. 
Safir isn't quite "original" and it's not quite a reproduction in my view.  They occupy an odd spot in the GT40 world.
