This 1967 Shelby Mustang GT350 was completed on February 14, 1967, before being shipped to Frontier Ford Sales in Niagara Falls, New York, and sold to its first owner on May 10, 1967. The car passed through three additional New York owners before being purchased by a Pennsylvania owner in the late 1990s. The 289ci HiPo V8 is said to have been rebuilt in 2000 before the car received a cosmetic refresh under long-term ownership in the late 2000s. It was acquired by its current owner in 2021, and a subsequent refurbishment by Cobra Automotive in Wallingford, Connecticut, included a repaint in Nightmist Blue and installation of a Tremec five-speed manual transmission, a True-Trac differential with 3.50:1 gearing, a reproduction Holley 715 carburetor, PerTronix electronic ignition, and a Precision Engineering dual exhaust. Equipment includes power-assisted front disc brakes, power steering, reproduction 15" Magstar wheels, inboard high-beam headlights, functional brake ducts, a fold-down rear seat, and black knitted vinyl interior upholstery. This GT350 is now offered at no reserve in Kansas by the seller on behalf of the current owner with a Deluxe Marti Report, an SAAC Registry report, a Shelby Research Group technical report, copies of its factory invoice and production order, invoices from the Cobra Automotive refurbishment, its removed automatic transmission, and a clean Montana title in the name of the owner's LLC.

Originally finished in Lime Gold, the body was refinished in Nightmist Blue without Le Mans stripes during the refurbishment performed by Cobra Automotive between 2021 and 2022. Bodywork carried out in 2009 is said to have included replacement of the floor pans, trunk floor, frame rails, torque boxes, fenders, and quarter panels. An all-fiberglass hood was fitted in place of the factory steel-frame panel, and a replacement flat taillight panel was also installed. Factory-specified equipment includes functional brake-cooling scoops and high-beam headlights mounted inboard on the grille, while a passenger-side mirror was added during the 2021 refurbishment.

Magstar-style wheels are said to be Paradise Wheels reproductions and were wrapped in 215/65R15 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires in 2021, while the trunk-mounted steel spare was wrapped in 195/60 BFGoodrich rubber. Braking is power assisted and is handled by discs up front and drums out back. Koni shock absorbers were installed all around during the Cobra Automotive project, which also included replacement of the ball joints, lower control arms, strut rods, tie rod ends, and idler arm.

The cabin is trimmed in black vinyl with knitted inserts over the front seats, which were refreshed with replacement foam in 2022. The seatback panels were also replaced at that time, as were the A-pillar pads, black Raylon-weave carpeting, and Burtex trunk lining. Kilmat sound-deadening material was also fitted during the project. A rebuild of the pushbutton radio included the addition of FM and Bluetooth capability, and aftermarket speakers were installed in the factory locations.

The reproduction wood-rimmed steering wheel sits ahead of a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, a clock, and gauges monitoring fuel level and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 77k miles, approximately 20 of which have been added under current ownership. The clock was updated with quartz movement in 2021.

The 289ci HiPo V8 is said to have been rebuilt in 2000 and is topped by a reproduction Holley 715-cfm four-barrel carburetor that was installed in 2022. PerTronix electronic ignition was also added during the Cobra Automotive project. Additional work included fluid changes and the replacement of the thermostat housing, thermostat, spark plugs, battery, voltage regulator, and fuel tank. Results of a compression test performed in August 2021 are shown among invoices in the gallery below and reflect values ranging from 145 to 155 psi for each cylinder.

The Tremec T5 five-speed manual gearbox was installed by Cobra Automotive in place of the factory C4 automatic transmission, which is included in the sale. Also installed during the project were a billet steel flywheel, an MDL clutch kit, and a custom driveshaft, and the rear end was rebuilt with True-Trac differential and 3.50:1 ring and pinion gears. A Precision Engineering dual exhaust system was also installed in 2021.

The Marti Report lists the original colors, Ford build dates, and equipment. Additional documents in the gallery below include the SAAC Registry report, SAAC Registry entry as of 2022, the Shelby Research Group technical report, and copies of the Production Order, Shelby American invoice to Frontier Ford Sales, and Special Vehicle Order and Parts Specifications sheet. Invoices from the work performed by Cobra Automotive totaling close to $90k are also provided along with photos from the cosmetic work during the project.
