Just to let everyone know, I own this particular vehicle now. I purchased it from a gentleman that bought it at an auction in Nov. 2022. I purchased it from him via eBay. I won the auction with an odd bid of $15,134.

I will be going back to pick up the original engine and transmission in a couple weeks with the intention of resurrecting both, but at least the engine.

The person who bought it in '22 did put in an engine and transmission from an '06 and swapped some of the electronics from it as well. Unfortunately that caused issues as the '07 - '09 had some differences from the '05 - 06.

So, I have replaced his '06 PCM with a proper '07 PCM with the correct VIN number. It runs very well at the moment, but stalls when power is applied. The catalytic converters need to be replaced. I also had the instrument panel rebuilt and since I still had the original he was able to put in the correct mileage and VIN.

I found some body damage in the rear passenger that was causing the taillight to not be flushed, so I will address that. Altogether though, I plan on finishing it's resurrection.

The replacement PCM may need the as-built data uploaded via OBD 2 FORD software. Either that or the TPS is faulty or possible fuel pressure issue.
