Change of plans. We found a black and red striped 2013 Laguna Seca Boss 302 with 8,000 miles on it. Its bad ass with a six speed manual. That will be the car. A little more stout than the GTH and IS on the admissible list into Canada...more developments later...

Those are sick!

If he lowers it, consider this, it is a game changer on the S197 chassis.

There are fancier versions but this is inexpensive, easy to mount, reversible and works.

Thanks for the input. Lowering will be the way to go.
"Low she sits on five spoke wheels
Small block eight so live she feels
There she's parked beside the curb
Engine revving to disturb
She's the princess from his past
Red paint gold stripes damned she's fast"

The Watts Link replaces the Panhard bar and keeps the axle centered under car as well as lowering the roll center. Panhard bar jacks the axle to one side when driven hard.

It combined with lowering springs will give the best results.

You can do even more if you replaced the upper control arm with a torque arm. It can get crazy but there is still room for improvement

Sounds like an awesome guy. Just do it. What a blast it will be for him and a great memory for you for many years to come.

It's bought. See The Lounge for pics. Coming out of Maryland. Going to trailer to Chicago. Will need to be fitted with daytime running lights to meet Canadian ridiculous standards. Other than that, their own documents say it is admissible into Canada...
