I was tagged by "Boa" so saw it this morning at work. Car is local to me. Owner has it stored at M1 Concourse in Pontiac it appears. Missed the show this year due to my wife's brief illness but were there last year(Woodward Dream cruise show) but that Shelby wasn't there or at least not out of its hanger.

I have an attachment to Sunlit gold; my dad bought a new 1968 Coupe in SL gold with a black vinyl top and black interior. Fond memories but he didn't keep it that long probably because he had 4 kids but we did have a station wagon also at that time. When he had it in the dealer for service in 1969 they gave him a 69 sportsroof to drive. He told my mom "look what I just bought". She blew up at him and told him to take it back immediately. My dad laughed. I never knew that story until one of my older brothers told me a few years ago.
