Coralsnake

The newest update is part of an unbroken chain of free information dating back to 2001.

One of the newest articles is a new dealer article on Stark Hickey. It is the start of a master work.

One of the oldest articles on the special paint cars, gets a review and update. Its pretty amazing most of these cars have some history. I have tracked down all but four special paint convertibles. The number of yellow GT350 fastbacks is ready to be carved in stone.

Much more!

I thought I would post these early and start work on the April edition. If you dont see the 2023 dates, hit your refresh and load up some Coralsnake goodies

You asked me a few years ago to try and find out info on Stark Hickey. I tried. A good friend of mine knows the current owner of Royal Oak Ford and asked a few times and nothing from the past ownership was there. I've never seen that pic of my black 68 before(1812) on your page. Stark Hickey also had a bunch of 68s that the prep guy mounted the antennas on the front fenders like my car.  Here is a pic of Frank Lungren and Tony Remero's(SP?) 135 car sponsored by Stark Hickey west(doesn't say west but I remember it as such over the years). I used to see this car as an 8 year old in my subdivision on a rollback. Made quite the impression on me as a kid. When I asked Frank about it 30 years ago he was bewildered as to why the car would be in my neighborhood and surmised that their driver's girlfriend must have lived there. Also by me was Dave Lyall's ex's house and I grew up with his kids. I remember going into their  garage and seeing B9 heads on a work bench and intakes hanging on the wall. That also left an impression. No wonder I turned into a Ford guy.

I always enjoy reading your site Pete and as you know linking people on BaT to your site. The purple cars story is cool. Pete, did you see this plum Crazy W30 442 vert  at MCACNs in Nov? GM allowed buyers to order in any color for dealer cost(50 bucks). When I saw it the first thing I thought of was Ed's Gt500.

If you are referring to me Pete I know it isn't. There has been banter between Ed and Bob also about their "purple" Shelbys.  My Ed ref is 2 top of the line performance  Convertibles  by their manufacturers  both purple, white/white and  both one of ones.

Drew Pojedinec

So I checked out your site for the first time.

If you need better pictures of, or if you'd like me to write a little bit about the -AA -AB Holleys used, let me know. I'd be happy to donate some time.

Coralsnake

That would be great. Always looking for better pics!

Aside from the choke cap (aftermarket replacement) this one was pretty original.
Anything else I can help with lemme know.
