Looking at the69  King Cobra race car for sale in the Mecum auction got me to thinking about core supports: Did Shelby fastbacks Being 63C builds have their core supports drilled for hood pins and lanyards? The King Cobra has them drilled out.

The fastbacks started out as mach1s  and thats why they have 5 on door tag by color for 69 mach1  blackout hood  so they would have mach 1 hood pin holes if i remember correctly but not on the verts.

That was my thought too, Ed. Every pic I have of 69-70 Shelby FBs the rubber is hiding the core support but I was thinking back to my old 70 GT500 having holes on it. My vert does NOT have holes in the original core support for pins.
