That would be called a continuity director. Apparently he isn't doing his job very well-

however, before I say that, I wouldn't put it past JJ to have lifted the logo from something ( someone ) back in the day either.

Interesting. I did a bit of research on the logo. It appears JJ's friend created it when they were 18. I kept searching and actually found a Moon Eyes version of the iron cross. Maybe they should have swapped it out with that logo-

Don't want to get political here but I have to agree with Stephen Becker on not paying to see a Matt Damon film. I haven't been to the movies in quite a few years. I'll watch it for free when it hits the tube. Everyone is entitled to their political opinion, be it liberal or conservative, but the some of the Hollywood crown goes out of it's way to shove their views down everyone's throat and those are the people I will not pay to watch.

The more details that trickle out, this film seems to be sliding toward Mommy Dearest territory.

Or to quote a famous screen writer, in Hollywood, no one knows anything.

I'll go see it regardless of their political Weltanschauung. But what's up with the 72 or so Charger? I hope they aren't trying to pawn it off as the sequentials of a 68 to 70 Shelby Mustang are they?
It is said that if you are liberal when young you have a heart but if you are liberal when older you have no brain.  I'll still see the movie nevertheless.

It's too bad people can't enjoy good entertainment for what it is.

I really liked Matt Damon and Christian Bale in a great deal of their movies.......  Damon in Good Will Hinting & Rounders and Bale in 3:10 to Yuma,...... those are really good movies done by some bleeding heart liberals.

I love Clint Eastwood in Unforgiven and Gran Torino (a good movie that features a Ford product).  Unforgiven is in my personal top 3 movies of all time.  Eastwood is epic in his movies and an incredible director/producer who is a staunch, gun toting republican.

I realize that Matt Damon and Clint Eastwood have nothing to do with each other in this movie but the bottom line is that I love the actors, directors and producers for what they are.  They are entertainers and I separate their sometimes extreme personal opinions from their artistic creations.

In summary, I'm looking forward to anything that will put the Shelby story in the public eye.  It helps advance the Shelby legacy as well as our Shelby club.  It promotes our passion for these great cars as well as the future of these cars.  Bring on the movie, I hope it does well.

Hopefully (it's a long shot) Hollywood inaccuracies and history rewrites will not spoil what could be a good and entertaining film.

If they are using the Shelby name, I am assuming that CS Licensing is involved.  However in the case of funding versus accuracy, we know what will win out.
Just nuts.

I heard that the movie will solely be about Shelby the football player and how he could have had a great career in the NFL. There will be no cars in this movie.
