Matt Damon to play Carroll Shelby in up-coming movie

Whatever happened with the movie that was supposed to have Tom Cruise playing Carroll?  Or is this it with a different cast?  I think Damon is a better choice than Cruise.

I think they will use Tom C yo pkay CS when he was at the age of 12 to 15 years old....

The script that was presented at the SAAC convention a few years ago probably didn't met with Ford's approval because it made Ford management look bad for imposing the side by side photo finish, even though it screw Ken Miles out of winning all big three races in '65. We know this weighed heavily on Shelby's mind because he talked about it in his later years. It's hardly a secret.

I wish the producers would see that story is a much more compelling one than a rah rah documentary about the USA beating Ferrari.
