Not as many up for auction as I was guessing when I opened Brian's post. Compared to Kissimmee anyway.
Brian, thanks again for taking the time to compile and post the list and also the results.

Once again Brain. Thanks for going to the trouble of compiling this list. I nominate you for SAAC's Number One Auction Tracker. Really appreciate it.

Yes, a noticeably short list of Shelby cars at the Scottsdale auctions this year. A few years ago this was the largest, most exciting venue for collector car sales. I think BAT & other online venues have disrupted the auction business as the cost of selling is far less plus you don't need to haul your car to the auction.

Thanks for compiling the list Brian!

Those are solid valid points

Heres one in the other direction

Cars are checked at the auction. Not all cars make it to the bidders

I wonder if the auction companies figured the southwest was saturated with SA cars and advised sellers to go to FL for new market. Or did they take SA cars to FL to get more butts in the bid seats.

I was at Sotheby's auction yesterday and looked over that car.
Let's just say the seller did very well and the buyer at that price NOT very well.
When I was looking at the car There was another guy looking it over crawling all around it . What I believe was the potential bidder that either hired or asked him to look over the car was right there. The guy who was looking it over kind of clueless.
He kept telling him things as he went. I tried my hardest to not get involved So without getting involved I started talking to my wife about items that were missing or not right loud enough so he could here me. Hoping he would just ask for my help but he was not getting the hint after about 12 items I stopped and walked away.
All this time my wife played along as she knows more about 68s and other years than most guys that own them.

Floating around AZ auctions as well. People want the meat and potatoes of these cars, they just want to own one. The little items what ever they might be can usually be taken care of at a later time. The goal is to get one and the rest will fall into place. Fun to see the excitement is still in the air come auction time! Enjoy AZ in January!
