It would  be safe to describe it as semi gloss black IMO however with said I have seen some  that were on the other end of that spectrum that were more egg shell . There was a range most likely having to do with temp and humidity when the parts were painted.

As Bob said the range varies quite a bit it's as long as anywhere from semi gloss to a trim or satin should be fine. I have a pair of new old stock ones here and they clearly are more of a satin than semi gloss
