I need a measurement olease

  I need to know the opening width on 1967 mustang fastback trunk from inner edge to inner edge of tail light metal I get 15 inches. I know this not a Shelby.

I get 15" measuring dead center on my '67.

Ok can you take a measurement  not from the center say in 2 places.. latch on  trunk lid does want to clear latch on body.

I measured 8" each direction from the center and both measured 15-1/4".
