Shelby Wheel Recall Notice

We all know about the 1969 Shelby wheel insert glue/rivet recall, but I just found this mention of another wheel problem in the September 1969 issue of CAR LIFE on page 13, and found it quite interesting.

I had not known about the lug nut issue too. Is that the same, or a different recall?

Different one. Although a concern I haven't heard any horror stories about ether issue other then anecdotal second and third hand evidence .
