Correct Paint for the 67/68 9" Rear End Housing

I typically have the rear end housing and backing plates bead blasted then powder coated semi gloss black.

The leaf spring band clamps in the photo are installed incorrectly ( upside down ). The open end of the clamp always faces down, not up as in your photo.

You are correct I assembled those upside down.
