I dont think you are going to see people put a list of things that are wrong with any car, in an open forum unless specifically asked by the owner.

I think it could sell.

A lot of BaT bidders are not very well informed in my opinion.

More times than not someone buys a 6 figure Mustang then HIRES an expert/guru to go over the car AFTER they purchased it and then are ticked off when they see the long list of what is wrong and missing. For some reason they do not want to shell out the Benjamins before the car sells to see what they are really buying.

 To go along with the previous post I think most buyers would be very surprised if they knew how many parts are missing or installed wrong on a large percentage of Shelby's after 50 plus years. That is even on ones that have been restored one or more times.  I am not even talking about Div I or Thoroughbred or even Div II or trailered concours. Just because a car has been restored doesn't mean it was done to assemblyline standards which of course is the standard that most informed buyers desire to be done to. The car may have good workmanship but that is all for naught if the restorer is not up to date on Mustang/Shelby assemblyline build techniques. Just because it looks pretty doesn't mean it is done right.We freely help polite enthusiasts and restorers all of the time on this forum with many answers to build and part questions but I am sure it is only the tip of the iceberg of questions that need asked and answered . With the best of intentions there are many questions that those same people aren't even aware need asking. They don't know what they don't know. With all of that said it is a crap shoot every time on these auctions IMO without accurate background info.

An interesting dynamic is one of my best friends who has a lot of car most being numbers matching was quoting how much his RS/SS 69 396 4 speed Camaro is worth. Ironically his values on his other cars are based that numbers matching is worth generally X more but failed to adjust for the 1967 396 in his Camaro. I don't think he liked when I explained that I thought his Camaro was a lot  less than what he thought it was worth. LOL.
